    I work on the backend and REST API development of UMIS, a university management and information system based on Laravel and PostgreSQL. I develop modules for academic, administrative and financial processes. I developed postgraduate program transitions and guest student application processes from scratch. I implemented REST/SOAP-based integrations with YÖKSİS, KPS, finance and SMS services. I worked on ECTS/Bologna, exams, grading, reporting, psychologist appointments and LMS services. I also used DomPDF and Chrome Headless for PDF document and certificate generation. I kept the application responsive by running large PDF/Excel operations in the background with Redis-based queue/job structures.

  2. Software Developer Tgrt Haber Apr 2022 – Feb 2024

    I took part in the development and maintenance of media sites such as TGRT Haber, Türkiye Gazetesi and Mavi Kadın, which reach about 5–10 million page views per month. I developed the backend with PHP, Butterfly Framework and MySQL, and the frontend with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML/CSS and Tailwind CSS. I worked on improving the websites' performance, user experience (UX) and search engine optimization (SEO).

    Within İhlas Holding and İhlas Media Holding, I worked on in-house applications and high-traffic media sites.
